Join Kharma in Sisterhood as we remember the Old Ways and celebrate the Divine Feminine! We will sit in circle as we have for centuries and remember the power we hold in our wombspace. Through drumming and song, we will reconnect to our ancestors. We will share wisdom and rite of passage to fully embrace the Sacred Divinity that resides within each one of us. The sister circle is ancient and eternal- just waiting for us to remember to return.
We remember the temple of the body, and that it is blood that creates life. We celebrate the blood and the life we create. We honor our bodies, our wisdom and our wombs.
After circle we will share tea and snacks. Please bring a snack to share- tea is provided.

The cost for this class is $222. This includes materials for the drum and mallet. If you wish to add ceremonial feathers or keepsakes or stones you may bring them with you and add them during the second half.
Choose from Elk or Deer for your hide. Please specify when you register or deer will be provided.

Work with Kharma in this 2 part workshop to create the medicine of your drum. This ceremonial practice is both beautiful and ancient.
Part one will have us gather in ceremony to set our intention for the medicine that will become. We will create Agua Florida using herbs and intent and take a shamanic journey to connect with the Spirits of the earth, Ancestors and the Animal from which the hide is given. We will use ceremony and song to place the hide in the Sacred Waters.
We will return the next morning to inscribe our frames and birth the hides and ties. Together we will use hands and song to craft your very own 14inch shamanic drum according to the Old Way.
We will conclude with a Naming Ceremony for the medicine you have birthed forward into this word and dedicate her voice to your practice.
